How to Eat According to Your Blood Type

Blood Type

Your blood type is defined by the genes you inherit from your parents. There are four different types of blood: A, B, AB, and O. Your blood type is defined by what sort of antigens your red blood cells have on the outside.

  • Type A has the A antigen.
  • Type B has the B antigen.
  • Type AB has both A and B antigens.
  • Type O has neither A nor B antigens.

Blood typing is essential for blood transfusions since some antigens in the blood cells can set off a person’s immune system to attack the donated blood.

Each person has specific nutritional necessities depending on his blood type, according to Dr. Peter D’Adamo, a naturopath, who proposed that people respond to various foods depending on their blood type.

According to the inventors of the blood type diet, Dr. D’Adamo says that your body’s ability to digest proteins, such as lectins, it’s up to your blood type. His theory says that if you eat the foods that your ancestors with the same blood type ate, you would be more healthy.

People with different blood types have different chemical molecules in their blood, which affects their capacity to fight diseases or make them predisposed to illnesses. They also have special stomach enzymes that cause them to digest some particular food than other blood types.

The blood type diet is beneficial based on eating precise foods to help you fight diseases, improve better digestion, promote better weight loss, stimulate your immune system, preventing illnesses, and keep you healthy.
