Bible Verses About God Is Good
Everyone is talking about God being good, but what does that really mean? What did the Holy Scriptures say about the goodness of God?
In this collection of Bible verses about the goodness of God, I will explore what it means that God is good and how He reveals His goodness to us.
Ready?
Let’s go!
What Does It Mean That God Is Good?
When I think about what it means that God is good, a few things come to mind.
First, it means that God is just and holy.
He doesn’t make mistakes, and He doesn’t treat us unfairly.
Instead, He treats us with love and mercy, even when we don’t deserve it.
Second, it means that God is trustworthy.
We can always rely on Him to keep His promises and to be there for us when we need Him.
Finally, it means that God is worth following.
His plans are always better than our own, and He knows what’s best for us.
When we trust in Him, we can be confident that He will lead us to a good future.
Simply put, believing that God is good is one of the best things we can do for ourselves.
It gives us hope when things are tough and helps us to see the world in a whole new light.
“Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the one who takes refuge in him.” – Psalm 34:8
How Does God Reveal His Goodness to Us?
He reveals His goodness to us in many ways, big and small.
Every morning, when we wake up to a new day, that is evidence of His goodness.
When we feel the warmth of the sun on our faces or the cool breeze blowing through the trees, that is a reminder of His goodness.
The fact that we are alive and able to experience all the wonderful things He has created is proof of His goodness.
Even when things are tough and we don’t understand what He is doing, we can trust that His plan is good.
Because He is good.
And His love for us never fails.
